Nita qualified as a dentist (BSc, 1976; DDS, 1978) in Thailand, and a Master of Medical Science (Restorative Dentistry) at the University of Sheffield, UK in 1989. She accomplished the Bachelor Degree in Traditional Chinese Medicine (Acupuncture) at the University of Salford with a First Class Honours. She also gained certificates in Bodywork, Natural Beauty & Facial Rejuvenation, Acupuncture in Obstetrics, and Postgraduate certificate in Acupuncture from Guiyang College, China.

Nita has a wide range of experience in the medical field working from 1983 to 1998 at the Dental Hospital and Dental School in Thailand, where her positions covered lecturing, head of the Crown & Bridge in the Department of Conservative Dentistry, Vice Dean of Administrative Affairs and Vice Dean of Student Affairs for the Dental School. In 1991-2001 she took up a post as an Honourary Clinical research Assistant at the University Dental Hospital of Manchester.

Since qualifying Nita has gained experience working in Thailand and the UK. Her experience in the private sector included working on board (Carnival Cruise Lines, Valor) where she treated people from around the world.

Nita is a fully licensed member of the British Acupuncture Council (BAcC), which is the UK’s largest regulatory body for practitioners of acupuncture. Members are bound by strict codes of ethics, safe practice and professional conduct to ensure the  health and safety of the public and the highest standards of professional excellence.
